BHS Menu Security System

Overview

The BHS Menu-Security System is both robust and fully customizable, making managing the sensitive aspects of your business simple.

Securing business applications can be tricky. The BHS MSU/400 tool allows you to take control of who can access what in your IBM System i ® applications. You can set up your own menus and identify who has access to each menu option. Only those options that users have authority to see will appear on their menus.

The tool also enables you to lock a menu or menu option from use at any time. Say it's month end and you want to make sure no one uses maintenance functions while you're processing. Simply lock the options using MSU/400 and anyone trying to use those functions will be told that the options are locked.

Even some BHS Java applications make use of MSU/400, enabling and disabling GUI screen buttons based on user-defined permissions.

BHS Transportation System

Overview

The BHS Transportation System includes modules for on-line billing with integrated imaging and fax capabilities, claims, leased operator income and expense controls, interline tracking, and human resources. It was designed to run in an LTL (less than truckload) environment.

Trip and trailer manifests can be created, and used in conjunction with the original probills to aid in tracking shipments. The flexible rating system lets you customize rates as required based on customer, origin, destination, and commodity type. The system handles COD shipments as well as various surcharges such as fuel, drop, tarp, hours, and miles.
